The United States Mission in Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering long-term partnerships across the country through engagements with communities and key stakeholders in Kaduna and Zaria.
The Mission disclosed that its Public Diplomacy team, led by Public Diplomacy Officer Raisa Dukas, visited the two cities to assess the impact of U.S.-supported programmes and strengthen relationships with local partners.
According to the Mission, the delegation held discussions with stakeholders to gain deeper insights into local perspectives on issues including religious freedom, democratic governance, media freedom, security and cultural preservation.
The team also visited the Window on America Centre at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where officials observed how U.S.-backed initiatives are supporting innovation, learning and economic opportunities for young Nigerians.
The U.S. Mission said the visit created fresh opportunities for collaboration in education, technology, alumni engagement, peacebuilding and commercial diplomacy, reaffirming its commitment to expanding mutually beneficial partnerships across Nigeria.
