He conveyed the condolences of the Force Management Team and the entire Nigeria Police Force to the families of the slain officers, assuring them that the sacrifices of their loved ones would remain etched in the memory of the institution.

The Inspector-General noted that although the loss of the officers was painful, it would not weaken the resolve of the police to sustain ongoing operations against armed bandits and other criminal groups operating in the state.

He charged officers and men of the command to remain courageous, disciplined, and professional in the discharge of their duties, stressing that criminal elements would not be allowed to dictate the security situation in Zamfara State.

Disu reiterated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to restoring lasting peace across the state and ensuring that communities affected by insecurity can return to normal life.

The IGP also commended the Zamfara State Police Command for a series of recent operational successes recorded in the fight against crime.

According to him, the command has demonstrated commendable professionalism through the arrest of suspected criminals, recovery of explosives and other dangerous materials, rescue of kidnapped victims, recovery of stolen motorcycles, and successful operations targeting armed bandits.

He said the achievements reflected the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing and underscored the importance of collaboration among security agencies in confronting evolving security threats.

The police chief emphasized that intelligence gathering, community engagement, and inter-agency cooperation remain critical components of the nation\'s security strategy.

He assured personnel that the Force leadership would continue to prioritize their welfare through improved logistics, operational support, and capacity-building initiatives designed to enhance effectiveness in the field.

Disu further pledged sustained efforts to provide officers with the resources necessary to carry out their constitutional responsibilities efficiently and safely.

He urged personnel to remain steadfast despite the challenges posed by insecurity, reminding them that their dedication and sacrifice are central to maintaining law and order across the country.

The Inspector-General stated that the most fitting tribute to the fallen officers would be a renewed commitment to the pursuit of peace, justice, and security for the people of Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.

He noted that the battle against banditry and violent crime requires persistence and collective effort, adding that security agencies must remain united in their mission to protect lives and property.

The visit comes at a time when security forces are intensifying operations against criminal gangs responsible for attacks, abductions, and other violent activities in parts of the North-West.

Observers believe the IGP\'s visit will further boost the morale of officers operating on the frontlines and reinforce confidence in the ongoing security operations across the state.

The Nigeria Police Force reaffirmed its commitment to supporting its personnel and sustaining efforts aimed at combating violent crime, safeguarding communities, and enhancing public safety nationwide.

The Force also reiterated its resolve to honour the memory of officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the country while continuing to strengthen security operations across all regions of Nigeria.
