The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Rivers State House of Assembly, Asari-Toru Constituency I, Hon. Okeipiriye Tom George, has held a strategic meeting with ward executives as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The consultative meeting, held on Wednesday, brought together party leaders from the constituency to harmonise strategies aimed at enhancing party cohesion and positioning the ADC for victory at the polls.
Participants discussed measures to deepen grassroots engagement, improve coordination across the wards and sustain support for the party's programmes and candidates.
Addressing the executives, George expressed appreciation for their loyalty, commitment and resilience in advancing the party's ideals despite political challenges.
He said the ADC derives its strength from the confidence reposed in it by ordinary citizens and urged party faithful to remain united and focused on delivering credible representation for the constituency.
The assembly hopeful described his candidacy as a commitment to restoring people-centred governance in Asari-Toru Constituency I, assuring residents that inclusive leadership, accountability and responsive representation would remain his priorities if elected.
