Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the season, bringing an end to his celebrated nine-year stay at Anfield.

In a statement released by the club, Liverpool confirmed that both parties had β€œreached an agreement” for the Egyptian forward to depart, marking the conclusion of a remarkable era.

Salah, 33, leaves as one of the club’s greatest-ever players, having scored 255 goals in 435 appearances. He currently sits third on Liverpool’s all-time goalscorers list, behind Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.

The club also noted that Salah chose to inform supporters early out of β€œrespect and gratitude,” ensuring transparency about his future.

His departure will signal the end of a highly successful chapter, during which he played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s domestic and European triumphs.
