The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for the screening of aspirants contesting for national offices, as part of preparations for its forthcoming National Convention slated for March 27.
This was disclosed in a notice issued on Sunday in Abuja by the Secretary of the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, Isa Yuguda, who confirmed that the exercise will hold at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja.
According to Yuguda, all aspirants who have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms are expected to appear in person for the screening.
He advised candidates to arrive early with all necessary supporting documents to facilitate a smooth and efficient verification process.
The screening exercise forms a key part of the APC’s preparations for its National Convention, where new national officers are expected to be elected to steer the affairs of the ruling party.
