Worshippers Gather in Port Harcourt for RWUS Day of Worship, Thanksgiving

Worshippers from across Rivers State are currently gathered at the Ecumenical Centre, Port Harcourt, for a special day of worship and thanksgiving organised by the Rivers Women Unit for Sim (RWUS) under its Ebenezer Series.

The ongoing programme, which began early Thursday morning, is themed โ€œO! Lord, Set Divine Order in Our Land!โ€ drawn from 1 Corinthians 14:40. The event is focused on prayers for divine order, peace and stability in Rivers State and the nation.

The atmosphere at the venue is marked by intense praise, deep worship and moments of solemn thanksgiving, as participants lift prayers for healing, unity and renewed direction for the land.

Organisers described the gathering as a prophetic and solemn assembly, aimed at aligning the state with Godโ€™s purpose and restoring hope amid prevailing social and political challenges.

Participants, dressed in all-white attire symbolising purity, unity and fresh beginnings, expressed confidence that the worship session would usher in spiritual renewal and reassurance.

The programme, which commenced at 8:00 a.m., is expected to continue with worship, prayers and thanksgiving sessions throughout the day, as attendees remain expectant for divine intervention and guidance.
