Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 attended the burial ceremony of late Mrs. Clarine Umezuruike Kalagbor, mother of Rt. Hon. Manuchim Umezuruike, the member representing Port Harcourt Constituency II in the House of Representatives.

The funeral ceremony, which held in Oroworukwo town, Port Harcourt, drew political leaders, government officials, and community stakeholders from across the state, led by the governor.

Governor Fubara expressed heartfelt condolences to Rt. Hon. Umezuruike and members of his family, describing the loss as painful and praying for God’s comfort and strength for the bereaved family during the period of mourning.
