Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has successfully raised over N20.5 billion through her birthday education fund to ensure the long-awaited completion of the National Library in Abuja, a project that has been abandoned for more than three decades. The fund, initiated during her 63rd birthday celebration, is being managed by the Federal Ministry of Education to guarantee transparency and effective utilization.

According to the First Lady’s office, donations remain open until December for individuals and organizations willing to contribute to the initiative. Supporters have been urged to channel contributions to the Oluremi@65 Education Fund account domiciled with Zenith Bank, number 1310314977. The initiative is seen as a landmark step towards revitalizing educational infrastructure and strengthening access to knowledge across the country.
