Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has reiterated his commitment to strengthening traditional institutions as pillars of peace and grassroots stability.

On Monday, the governor swore in Akuku Saviour Sylvester Udofia, Paramount Ruler of Abak LGA, as the new Chairman of the Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers. He also announced improved welfare packages, including increased allowances, healthcare support, official vehicles, and the appointment of Personal Assistants for all Paramount Rulers.

Governor Eno urged traditional rulers to collaborate with local government chairmen in fostering unity and creating an enabling environment for investors. He emphasized that preserving cultural heritage remains key to building a modern and prosperous Akwa Ibom.
