Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has opened up on his decision to marry a Cameroonian woman, despite being asked why he did not settle with a Yoruba girl.
Speaking in a recent interview, Osimhen revealed that he initially did not even know his wife was from Cameroon. According to him, what mattered most was her unwavering support during difficult times. “She stood by me when things weren’t going well. She supported me financially and emotionally, and she gave me every reason to marry her,” he said.
The Napoli forward added that while Nigerian women are undoubtedly beautiful, his marriage choice was guided by nature and the bond he shared with his wife, not nationality.
