Veteran Juju music star of the 1970s, Alhaji Ahuja Bello, has passed away at the age of 83.
It was gathered that the music legend died in the early hours of Monday, just a day after celebrating his 83rd birthday.
His death was confirmed by his daughter, Bello Festus Aderemi, who took to Facebook to pay tribute to her late father. In her post, she wrote:
“Rest in peace my lovely dad, Alhaji Ahuja Bello.”
Ahuja Bello was one of the notable names who shaped Juju music in the 1970s, entertaining fans with his unique sound and stage presence.
Details about funeral arrangements are yet to be announced as the family mourns the passing of the Juju icon.
