Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has assured that the people of Ebonyi State and the Southeast will repay President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s developmental strides with their votes.

Speaking at the grand finale of the Ohanivo New Yam Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2025, Umahi emphasized that Ebonyi is not “Obidient,” stressing that the state firmly aligns with President Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru.

The Minister highlighted Tinubu’s infrastructural projects in the region, including the legacy road linking Cross River to Ebonyi and Benue, as evidence of renewed federal presence. He urged the people to rally behind Governor Nwifuru, assuring that his achievements would soon become visible across the state.
